Question Details:

A 4 kg thin rod is welded to a 3 kg thin disk at C as shown. The assembly rotates about a under the effects of gravity a P, in a vertical plane. At the instant shown the angular velocity is 12 rad/s and the angular acceleration is 36 rad/s/s, both counterclockwise.
Determine a) the force P, b) the components of the reaction at A.

I am having difficulty with finding the mass moment of inertia of the assembly.
