A water has a BOD5 of 10 mglL.  The initial DO in the BOD bottle water 8 mg/L and the dilution was 1/10 what is the final DO in the BOD bottle?.

Response Details:
We know ,Biochemical oxygen Demand can be calculated for dilution method by the formula
BOD = (Initial DO - Final DO)*Dilution factor
Putting the values
10 = (8 - Final DO)*10
1=8-Final Do
So Final DO = 7 mg/L
