Response Details:
initial horizontal velocity of the diver=2.75
horizontal acceleration=0
horizontal velocity just before entering the water=2.75 m/s since horizontal acceleration=0

initial vertical velocity=0
vertical acceleration=g=9.8
vertical displacement=3.6
vertical velocity just before entering the water=v

v2=u2+2*g*h
v2=0+2*9.8*3.6
v=8.4 m/s

∴the speed just before entering the water==8.84 m/s
