Response Details:
let the force exerted by the rope on the bucket of water be F, we have:
F-mg = ma
=>F = ma+mg = m(a+g) = 5.7kg*(3.8m/s2 + 9.81m/s2) = 77.577 N
the force F is 77.577N

Response Details:
mass m = 5.7 kg
accleration due to gravity  g = 9.81 m / s ^ 2
upward accleration  a = 3.8 m / s ^ 2
force exerted by the rope on the bucket  F = m ( a+ g )
                                                                 = 77.577 N
