  From Newton's second law
   F = ma
  Here a be the acceleration = 12 m/s2


 
 The acceleration of the object if the force is halved is
                 F/F'= (a/a')
   F' = F/2
               2 = a/a'
              a' = a/2
                 = 6 m/s2        ( since mass of the object is constant )
       So the acceleration of the object is
                          a' =6 m/s2  

  The acceleration of the object be if the mass is halved is
            
                (m'/m)= (a/a')
   m' = m/2
               1/2 = a/a'
              a' = 2a
                 = 24 m/s2     

  The acceleration of this object be if the force is halved and the mass is halved is
             F/F'= (a/a')(m/m')
   F' = F/2  and m' = m/2
            2 = 2 (a/a')
             a' = a
                 = 12 m/s2
